digiDOQ has been sensibly priced for small and medium businesses,
agencies, and individuals to help them with their expanding Records Management
needs and their desire to better control the cost of document
handling.
After an extensive review of the current Records Management market, Prospect Technologies has developed a simple pricing model that is easy to understand and simple to quote. Currently, we ask three- (3) questions to determine a price:
- How many employees do you have in your company / group?
- How many Multi-functional Printers (MFP) / Scanners will you need?
- How many files / pages do you need to scan? (Or more simply ... how many file drawers do you need to scan? The average file draw has 2,500 pages)
Pricing for digiDOQ consists of two- (2) parts: The upfront, one-time cost and a monthly recurring fee.
Our monthly recurring price scales upward with the number of employees (Question # 1). And the initial fees depend upon how many MFPs are needed as well as how many pages are to be scanned. (Questions #2 and #3).
As an example, let’s say we have a firm with 37 employees. 20 of them are centrally located in Baltimore, MD and the rest are scattered about the US and in Europe. They want to have one- (1) Multi-functional Printer (MFP) / Scanner at their Baltimore HQ; and they have a backlog of about 500,000 documents (~ 200 file draws) that need to be scanned into the system.
The monthly recurring cost for a firm with up to 50 employees is $500 per month. The one-time / set-up fee for the firm’s own digiDOQ Web site that all their employees can access as well as a single MFP at HQ will be $22,500.
Or digiDOQ can be priced on a simple monthly recurring price basis thereby rolling the up-front / set-up costs in one monthly payment.

As an additional piece of information, our research to date indicates that for 500,000 documents in a firm of 50 to 100 employees, digiDOQ prices at roughly 25 to 50% of the competition. And digiDOQ doesn’t require at least two- (2) new servers installed on your company’s LAN nor special software on every computer that employees will be using to access the Records Management system.
